I earned my pro card by winning the Canadian Championships, then took the big step of moving to California. 3 months later I won my professional debut, the Jan Tana. I’m the only Canadian to have ever won that prestigious award, and I feel so blessed to have had that honor. Nothing beats the goosebumps of working so hard day after day in the gym, eating strict meals, daily tanning, preening in the mirror on hair and makeup for as much as I had energy left for, adding all the finishes touches to your outfits and presentation, and then hearing your name announced as the Jan Tana Champion! So amazing! 7 weeks later things only got better as I placed 9th in the Ms Olympia contest, where 2 of my competitors were 7 time Olympia Champion and legend Lenda Murray and the new Olympia winner that year as it turned out, Kim Chivesky! So here I was now, 9th in the world and on 3 magazine covers…dreams really do come true. My next best placing was the Ms International the following year, where I was 5th runner up.
I’ve been in Muscle&Fitness, Flex, Muscular Development, Ironman, and MuscleMag International. I was on the covers of several of these magazines as well, 3 times on Flex, 3 times on MuscleMag, 1 time on Muscular Development, and another time on Ironman. I’ve also been on 3 WPW magazines, and had plenty of coverage in that female physique devoted magazine as well. I’ve had 5 poster pullouts in the mags, 3 of them being the “Power and Sizzle” feature Flex magazine used to devote to women’s bodybuilding. I’ve done several swimsuit calendars, videos, and been featured in several fitness books, and even sociology books about female athletes.

My calves are so hard and strong that when I walk my calves jut out from the sides of my legs. My calves are probably the first things you notice on my muscular body when I wear my mini skirts. After my workout my entire body was burning, it was hot and I was so sweaty that I was dripping with sweat. I just had to cool off. I moved my equipment back in the house, then went into my bedroom. I was shaking from the heavy workout and my body needed a refreshing cool down. I took off my tank top and put on a red lace thong bikini swimsuit, running out of my house and right into the water. I love living by the beach. I usually skinny dip at night with no one was watching, or so I thought. I was doing laps, combing the water with my huge biceps. I started doing backstrokes and realized I wasn’t alone.
